Relife Studio is a small Danish family owned interior brand. Relife Studio first started making products from packaging cardboard, but they quickly found that there exists a lot more materials with some of the same qualities. Now they use election posters. In Denmark there is produced over 700.000 election posters for an election. Most of these posters are made on PP-plastic, and after an election a large part of these are simply burned, and not recycled. That is why we have chosen to produce our stool in this material.

SheWorks Atelier has helped us make the seat of the stool, which is removable and can therefore be washed and replaced if needed. Sheworks Atelier is a Circular Design Studio which utilizes surplus and waste materials from the textile industry in Denmark. They produce Danish design products from residual materials and based on the talent and interest in crafts, they also create jobs and life value for refugee and immigrant women who want a way into local community and an opportunity to support their families.

The stool is only sold in Denmark and is a limited edition. If you would like to buy and live outside of Denmark, send your request at order@wedowood.dk. It will be delivered in January 2023.
